Lindsay Cadenhead
Director of Extended Education

Lindsay Cadenhead is the Director of Extended Education at Texas Christian University, where she leads a diverse portfolio of programs that inspire lifelong learning and community engagement. From enriching educational experiences for young children to professional development opportunities for educators and the Silver Frogs lifelong learning program for retired adults, Lindsay is passionate about creating meaningful learning opportunities that empower individuals at every stage of life.
Since joining TCU in 2020, Lindsay has also directed the university’s Advanced Placement Summer Institute, one of the nation’s premier professional learning programs for AP educators. She serves on the College Board Advanced Placement Summer Institute Advisory Panel, collaborating with colleagues across the country to strengthen professional development and support excellence in Advanced Placement education.
Lindsay earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University–Commerce. Before joining TCU, she dedicated nearly two decades to Texas public education, beginning her career as a classroom teacher in 2002 before advancing into campus and district curriculum leadership roles.
A lifelong advocate for education, Lindsay believes learning should be accessible, engaging, and transformative throughout every season of life. She is committed to building programs that connect the university with the broader community and foster curiosity, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.
Outside of her professional work, Lindsay is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their two sons, Alex and Ashton. She loves supporting her family’s band activities, entertaining friends and loved ones, and serving her community as the President of the Mansfield Parks and Recreation Development Corporation Board.
Trisha Obregon
Program Coordinator

Trisha Obregon is a Program Coordinator for TCU’s Silver Frogs and Advanced Placement® Summer Institute (APSI) programs within Extended Education. She manages program operations, develops special events, and supports the growth of lifelong learning opportunities for adults 50 and older, while also coordinating professional development for AP teachers nationwide.
With a strong background in community engagement and program development, she is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and enhancing the educational experiences offered through TCU.
Cassidy Owens
Program Coordinator

Cassidy Owens is a Program Coordinator with TCU Extended Education, where she oversees the planning, development, and coordination of the university’s summer camp programs. She works closely with campus and community partners to cultivate engaging educational experiences for learners of all ages while supporting camp operations from program development through implementation.
In addition to leading TCU’s summer camp initiatives, Cassidy contributes to marketing efforts and supports a variety of Extended Education programs, including Silver Frogs. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning opportunities and building programs that connect the community with the resources and expertise of TCU.
Cassidy earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Marissa Garcia
Office Administrator

Marissa Garcia is an Office Administrator in Extended Education at Texas Christian University. Marissa assists in the registration and management of programs and classes for our office. She is passionate about providing exceptional support, building strong relationships, and creating efficient processes that help students, faculty, and colleagues succeed. Marissa enjoys learning new skills, solving problems, and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, planning their next adventure, and continuing her education.
